Why keep snails as pets?

• Low maintenance: Snails are generally low-maintenance pets, requiring minimal care compared to many other animals. They don’t need much attention or interaction, making them suitable for people with busy lifestyles or those seeking a low-commitment pet.

• Educational value: Observing snails can provide educational opportunities, especially for children, teaching them about biology, life cycles, and the natural world. It can foster an appreciation for creatures often overlooked.

• Relaxing to watch: Their slow, deliberate movements can be calming and relaxing to watch. Many find it enjoyable to observe their behavior, such as crawling or feeding.

• Space requirements: Snails don’t require a large living space, making them suitable for people with limited room for pet habitats.
