About our Transporting
African Gray Lovers Family arrange transportation of your adopted birds and animals. We are partner with professional animal deliver and logistics agency that operate both air and ground transportation to 48 out of the 50 states. Our partner transport agencies will provide 24 hour care, this means when they are en route to their new destination there will always be a second person in the vehicle to provide efficient care to all animals on board the vehicle.

We provide transport to many species, our list includes but is not limited to: small mammals pets (pigs, goats, rabbits, porcupines, ships, fish, exotic birds and many more
All of our routes are modified to the types of animals transported – meaning certain animals we DO NOT transport with others. For example, routes with rabbits, hedgehogs, and other small mammals WILL NOT be placed in the same vehicle as a fox, exotic cat or other predator type animals. Our routes are designed to accommodate the specific needs of each animal.
Also, some animals are illegal in some states, with this being said, our route cannot bring those select animals through those states so we may have to take a longer route to go around certain states. This is to abide by all laws put in place by each state individually.
Our methods of transport include two different vehicles:
- Mid-Sized SUV – Used for SHORTER routes or routes with SMALLER crates
- Van – Used for LONGER routes or routes with LARGER crates
We DO NOT over crowd our vehicles, se ensure there is enough space between all animals and proper circulation and air flow throughout the vehicle
Lastly, we clean and disinfect our vehicles with veterinary grade cleaner in between each of our routes. The safety and health of the animals on our routes are our top priority.
Our Transport Pricing
Our transportation is not based on mileage on a typical route, we base our prices on the type of animal transported, as well as the size of the crate. Though we do offer semi-private and private routes as well that are based on mileage specifically.
OUR PRICES BELOW ARE LISTED BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- PIGS, GOATS, SHIPS, RABBITS AND OTHER SMALL ANIMALS — $200 MINIMUM
- SMALL/MEDIUM FISH CARRIER — $250 & UP
- CHICKS AND ADULT BIRDS — RANGE $300 – $800
- ALL BOTTLE BABIES — $500 and UP
- PRIMATES (LEMURS AND MONKEYS) — $400 & UP
- BIRDS — $200 & UP
BASED ON MILEAGE:
- SEMI – PRIVATE ROUTE: $1 PER MILE
- PRIVATE ROUTE: $1.50 PER MILE
Our Transport Need To Knows
Our transportation info is as follows:
- Must Complete Transportation Request Form FIRST
- We will be in contact within 24 hours of the forms submission
- All contact BEFORE pick-up will be made with the seller of the select animals – All contact AFTER pick-up will be made with the buyer of the select animal
- We always update if there are any delays or traffic issues upon route
- We notify when we are about an hour out from the provided address
- After the animal is picked up we provide updated pictures to the buyer along the route
- We provide ALL GENERAL UPDATES on our FACEBOOK PAGE –
- The animals care and safety is our HIGHEST PRIORITY – we always have a supply of clean bedding to change throughout the route as well if needed
